Bakery 105 | Abby & Brandon's Wedding | A Wilmington, NC Wedding Photographer

Abby & Brandon's Wilmington wedding was absolutely beautiful! I loved their bright, colorful, and laid back waterfront wedding. Abby and Brandon are both Animal Veterinary Science students at NC State and so they found special, meaningful ways to incorporate their love of animals and of their dog, Petrie throughout their day. Abby and Brandon also read their own vows to one another and I can't think of a time when I've heard sweeter vows, I was fighting back tears behind the camera!

Sumter County Museum | Alexandra & Travis' Wedding | A Sumter, SC Wedding Photographer

Alexandra and Travis had the PERFECT wedding day! It was a beautiful, sunny, 70 degree day and their outdoor wedding could not have been any more beautiful! I loved how laid back Alexandra and Travis were (as you can tell by their fun shoes!). I actually shot a wedding at Sumter County Museum at a little over a year ago (Celia and Isaac's wedding) and so it was fun to be back again!

The Poinsett Club | Sarah & Alexandre's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

I have a treat for you today! I am so excited to share Sarah and Alexandre's wedding! I actually shot Sarah's brother Colin's wedding last year and so it was a joy to shoot another wedding for the Tice family. Sarah and Alex are a very sweet couple and their wedding was absolutely stunning! You may remember from Colin's wedding that his mom, Lisa Tice, is an amazing artist (the painting you see pictured below is a portrait she painted of Sarah when she was a child!) and she did an incredible job designing all of the decor. Their decorations reminded me of a whimsical, enchanted forest...it was stunning! Alexandre is from France and so they also had some special details that are meaningful to them like a traditional French wedding cake (called a croquembouche). It was an amazing day!

The Merrimon-Wynne House | Cassie & Brock's Wedding | A Raleigh, NC Wedding Photographer

Cassie and Brock's wedding day was about as close to perfect as you can get! They had a beautiful and sunny 65-70 degree wedding day in the middle of February! They also had a stunning venue and an amazing team of vendors. Their details were perfect; what could be better than copper + greenery + succulents + and lots of geometric shapes?!

Cassie and Brock are so much fun together and their joy over being with one another exuded throughout their wedding day. Their day was a big celebration full of close family and friends. Brock is actually being deployed in a few weeks and so it was a joy for Cassie and Brock to be able to come together as husband and wife before he leaves.

Featured Partner: Basic Invite

I am excited to share about a great company with you today! One of the important, but often overlooked, parts of your wedding day is your stationery! So, I am partnering with a company called Basic Invite to share about some good wedding stationery options with you. Basic Invite offers inexpensive bridal shower invitations, save the date cards, and some of the best online wedding invitations

Here's a few things I really like about Basic Invite:

Almost Unlimited Colors - Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options. So, you can make sure the card is exactly how you want it - down to the smallest detail. I absolutely love that Basic Invite allows you to customize your card to perfectly fit the colors and feel of your wedding day, that is so important!

Custom Samples - Basic Invite is also one of the few websites that allows you to have the ability to order a printed sample of your actual invitation so you can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order. It's so nice to be able to see exactly what you're getting before spending a lot of money on a large order!

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes - You can choose from over 40 different colors when it comes to envelopes so that you can make your invitation stand out even before it is opened. All of their envelopes are peel and seal (for a girl who hates licking envelopes, I love this!) so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed.

Over 200 Wedding Invitation Sets - Each of Basic Invite's wedding invitations are a part of a set. You can find everything from save the dates to wedding invitations and enclosure cards, wedding menus, wedding programs and even matching thank you cards!

Free Address Collection Service - You can use Basic Invite's free address collection service to request your addresses with just three simple steps: Share a link, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing. I LOVE this feature! So convenient!

You can learn more about Basic Invite by visiting their website, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, or Twitter.
