The Poinsett Club | Sarah & Alexandre's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

I have a treat for you today! I am so excited to share Sarah and Alexandre's wedding! I actually shot Sarah's brother Colin's wedding last year and so it was a joy to shoot another wedding for the Tice family. Sarah and Alex are a very sweet couple and their wedding was absolutely stunning! You may remember from Colin's wedding that his mom, Lisa Tice, is an amazing artist (the painting you see pictured below is a portrait she painted of Sarah when she was a child!) and she did an incredible job designing all of the decor. Their decorations reminded me of a whimsical, enchanted forest...it was stunning! Alexandre is from France and so they also had some special details that are meaningful to them like a traditional French wedding cake (called a croquembouche). It was an amazing day!

Upcountry History Museum | Stephanie & Victor's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

I met Stephanie years ago on a summer project with Generation LINK. I so enjoyed getting to know Stephanie and I loved watching her grow in Christ that summer. So I was delighted when Stephanie contacted me about shooting her wedding day!

Stephanie's wedding day was one of the most laid back that I've shot. Stephanie and Victor chose to have a smaller wedding with no bridal party. The whole day was so relaxed and absolutely beautiful! Stephanie has a very classic, southern style and her wedding definitely reflected that! Victor is a Marine and so I also loved seeing how they incorporated the military into various parts of their wedding. A few of my favorite parts of the day were: Stephanie's prayers with her friends and with her mother/MIL (soooo sweet), Victor's dads toast and the honor he showed to the military in attendance and their significant others, the armadillo grooms cake (watch Steel Magnolias to get that one!), and the huge dance party during the reception!

Published in TALK Magazine | Kristin & Colin's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

Last month was a HUGE month for DiPrima Photography! I had the honor of being published in the November issue of Greenville's TALK Magazine! This is the first time I've ever seen my work published in print, and it was an amazing blessing and encouragement! It was made even better by the fact that Colin and Kristen were SUCH a sweet and wonderful couple who are so worth celebrating! In fact, if you'll remember, Kristen and Colin's wedding took place the weekend of the hurricane in South Carolina. They had to move their outdoor reception indoors and we had to work around a hurricane and major wind and rain their whole wedding day. In spite of all of that, Colin and Kristen had great attitudes and were so full of joy on their wedding day and guess what? Their pictures of some of my favorite that I've ever taken! And they were published in a magazine! It just goes to show that if you are happy and choose not to worry and stress on your wedding day, everything will be alright! And what really, truly matters is that at the end of the day, you'll be married! Future brides: my encouragement to you is to choose JOY even when unexpected or difficult things happen on your wedding day (and it seems like something unexpected always happens every wedding day)!

You can read the full story in TALK Magazine here. You can also see Kristen and Colin's wedding blog post here and Kristen's bridal portraits here.

Taylors First Baptist Church | Kristen & Colin's Wedding | A Greenville, SC Wedding Photographer

Kristen and Colin had an unbelievably beautiful wedding day! It happened to be in the middle of the hurricane that hit South Carolina this past weekend and yet, it all came together perfectly. I was so blessed and encouraged by Kristen and Colin's flexible and joyful attitudes in spite of the crazy weather that came their way! They really made the most out of it and regardless of the rain and wind, their pictures are some of my absolute favorites! They had a beautiful ceremony at Taylors First Baptist Church and an unbelievably beautiful reception at Colin's parents home in Greenville. Colin's mom is a very talented artist and she did all of the florals and the decor for the reception. The reception was originally supposed to be outdoors in their backyard but was moved inside due to the weather and I couldn't believe how gorgeous everything looked!

I'm also excited to share that Colin and Kristen's wedding will be featured in Greenville's November issue of TALK magazine so if you live in the area, be sure to pick up a copy!!

Colin and Kristen- photographing your wedding was an absolutely joy! I hope you're having an amazing time on your honeymoon and that you have fun reliving your wedding day together!
