Boulevard Baptist Church | Teresa & Matt's Wedding | An Anderson, SC Wedding Photographer

Matt and Teresa's wedding day was Christ-centered and full of emotion and joy! It was truly a beautiful day! Teresa wore her mom's veil and a gorgeous rose gold ring. Matt's reaction just as Teresa began to walked down the aisle was one of the sweetest I've ever witnessed. It was hard for me to fight back the tears! Throughout the whole day, it was very clear how much Matt and Teresa love Christ and love one another.

Matt and Teresa, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day! I hope you enjoy these pictures as you're on your honeymoon. :)

McKenzie & Lou's Wedding | A New Hill, NC Wedding Photographer

McKenzie and Lou had a beautiful wedding on McKenzie's parent's farm! It rained the entire day before their wedding and the morning of their wedding but amazingly, it stopped right when I got there and stayed clear for the rest of the day! I was so thankful! McKenzie and her mom did an amazing job decorating for the wedding and every detail was so beautiful (not to mention their farm has stunning scenery)! McKenzie and Lou were so fun and laid back to work with and I really enjoyed capturing their day. McKenzie and Lou, thank you for giving me the privilege of photographing your big day!!

Downtown Charleston, SC Anniversary Session | Sammi & Joey | A Charleston, SC Photographer

Alex and I and Sammi and Joey went to Charleston a few weeks ago to shoot Lauren and Sudeep's beautiful wedding. Lauren is a close personal friend of mine and Sammi's and so we were invited to the rehearsal dinner in downtown Charleston. I absolutely love Charleston and so the idea came to me to do an anniversary session swap with Sammi and Joey! Alex and I and Sammi and Joey got married within a month of each other last August/September and so we both have our one year anniversaries coming up (which is hard to believe!). We spent about an hour and walked around the streets of Charleston and traded off taking pictures of one another. It was extremely hot and Joey and Alex were super patient as Sammi and I stopped them on pretty much every corner to take pictures. :) Despite the heat, I had a blast and I'm so happy with the pictures I got of Sammi and Joey!

Sammi and Joey- y'all are such a blessing to us! We're so thankful for you and for your Christ-centered marriage! I hope you enjoy these pictures.

For Brides: Where Should I Print My Wedding Pictures?

Where Should I Print My Wedding Pictures?

I am ending this series with a post about printing wedding images because I think it's so important! In our day and age, everything has become so digital that people often loose sight of the significance of having tangible, printed things in front of them. There's just something about seeing your beautiful images in print and not just on a computer screen. And in my opinion, when you spend hundreds of dollars on wedding images, they deserve to be printed and displayed in your home! These are keepsakes you're going to treasure and pass on to the next generation.

What many people don't know is that you can tell a BIG difference between prints that come from a professional printing lab and prints that come from a consumer lab. Getting the color printed accurately on your images is very important and professional quality labs will give you drastically better results than other, cheaper options. Professional labs also offer higher quality photo paper, higher quality inks, and special coatings that ensure your images are resistant to things like finger prints, dust, and fading. In case you're still not convinced, here's a post by another photographer that shows you the difference between getting prints from a professional vs. a consumer lab.

I am happy to share with you that I offer professional prints directly through your PASS gallery. All you have to do is click "add to cart" on the image you want and then select the size and quantity. I also offer canvases and albums (I will do a post on this later but you can also tell a HUGE difference between canvases and albums from a professional lab versus a consumer lab).

Where To Get Pictures Printed

If professional prints aren't quite in your budget, here's a few good consumer labs I would recommend:

1. MPix
2. Nations Photo Lab

Rachel & Tim's Wedding at the Pink House | A Clemson, SC Wedding Photographer

Rachel and Tim’s wedding was beautiful and it was such an honor to be able to capture their special day! I met Rachel and Tim at Crosspoint Church in Clemson, SC and have known them for a few years. It’s been a joy to watch them date, get engaged, and get married! They are such a sweet couple and their love for Christ and love for one another is so evident.

Their wedding was held at the Elder’s lovely “Pink House” in Central, SC. The Elder’s home was a perfect venue for a wedding!  Their house reminds me of Charleston and I love it! It sits on a farm and so there’s plenty of beautiful spots to get pictures and their pink house made a lovely back drop for the ceremony! I also loved all of the details at Rachel and Tim’s wedding. I absolutely ADORED the flowers (they looked like wildflowers), the pretty pink bridesmaids dresses (which matched the home perfectly), and Rachel's stunning vintage inspired lace dress. Everything came together wonderfully!

Tim and Rachel also had one of the sweetest first looks I’ve ever seen! Seriously, Sammi and I were fighting back the tears as we took pictures! Tim’s reaction when he saw Rachel for the first time was so joyful and full of emotion.

Tim and Rachel, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful, Christ-centered day! It was a joy to capture!
